Curriculum Themes for Prep
The focus in the Prep year is to provide the most appropriate environment for the children's bodily development and to facilitate opportunities for leaning through imitation, the natural means of learning in young children. Cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills are all afforded equal value and many different competencies are developed. Creative play and imitation of adult activities, through the role model provided by the teacher, are the focal point of the curriculum.
